Community Building Strategy

SILK STUDIO created a social media and community strategy to educate the skin fanatic audience of Routinely in a playful manner. Through graphic design lead images, a unique visual language, and informative captions, we were able to translate their vision into a reality on Instagram. Additionally, we’ve created an inspiring ambassador strategy to start their community and strengthen their brand identity.

Routinely designs custom skincare routines based on customer’s specific skin profile. Distilling skincare to its essence, Routinely.

Brand Building

SILK STUDIO worked on an inspiring and personal brand story for Kinfill which encompasses the facts and feelings which were created for Kinfill. As stories spread through social media, we created the brand story and content calendar which became the fundamental base for their social media strategy.

Kinfill is a home care brand from The Netherlands whose goal is to redefine the act of cleaning for our contemporary lives. The clean(ing) brand that makes the invisible, visible. Kinfill creates products that are kind to both you and our planet. Highlighting the art of transforming everyday details into worthwhile and meditative experiences.

Brand Building

SILK STUDIO worked with Ilham on her branding strategy by helping her create a strong visual identity. By highlighting her bold work through iconic black-and-white filters, we were able to increase her Instagram follower growth by 90%.

The Moroccan native Ilham Mestour started her career as a hairdresser at a salon in Amsterdam back in 1997, and today, she is one of the most highly sought hairstylists for top models (Naomi Campbell, Doutzen Kroes, and Imaan Hammam), fashion magazines (Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Dazed & Confused, Vanity Fair) and many other celebrities. With her technical skills and creative input, she transforms styling hair into an art form.

Event Experience Design

To mark the launch of Oumayma’s exclusive collaboration with eyewear brand Aperçu, SILK STUDIO designed and hosted an intimate launch experience in partnership with Tabili, an emerging culinary concept.

Set around a beautifully curated lunch, the event brought together selected guests, creatives, and tastemakers in a setting where hospitality, design, and storytelling merged together. Every detail was considered to reflect the spirit of the collaboration and create a sense of intimacy, aspiration, and cultural relevance.

Community Building Strategy & Event Experience Design

We are helping to build a women’s empowerment network; alongside Nathalie Robberse, SILK STUDIO formed the empowerment network called “TEN”.

Our networking platform was founded with the intention to connect and support women in the creative industry. It is our mission to empower women by giving them access to opportunities and a supportive network of other creatives in order to realize their own fullest potential.

Event Experience Design & Communitu Building

SILK STUDIO partnered with The Building AMS’s to transform their Salon for one day in a completely different experience beyond the traditional setting. The space was reimagined as a cultural salon environment where hair care, identity, and connection were experienced in a new context. Clients, ambassadors, and guests engaged with the brand through curated music, intimate panel conversations, and thoughtfully designed moments that encouraged deeper dialogue and connection. The result was a refined experience that brought people together not only around beauty and aesthetics, but around the emotional and social essence of the salon as a place for transformation, conversation, and community.

Alongside this, SILK STUDIO developed engaging social media content for both existing and potential clientele, supported the amplification of their large-scale events, and contributed to the ongoing management and presentation of their online webshop.

SILK STUDIO designed with Wauw & Lulu, a high-end handbag brand, their brand story, brand identity, pr- and social media strategy.

The collaboration focused on strengthening both community building and brand positioning by creating a narrative that connects the brand to its audience on a more emotional and cultural level. This helped shape a recognisable and personal identity while creating and growing community around the brand's values aesthetic and long term vision.

Wauw & Lulu, designed in the Netherlands and produced in Portugal and Indonesia, this minimalist handbag brand maintained an international outreach both in its production and distribution.

Our deck of cards with thought-provoking questions that will lead each conversation beyond the superficial.

SILK STUDIO hosts 360 workshops for corporate and emerging companies in order to bring a breath of fresh air, insights, and inspiration to these businesses. This card deck was used at events from various brands.
